When medical indications arise where a Caesarean section is necessary for the safety of mother or baby, our surgical approach utilizes modern cosmetic suturing and gentle anesthesia for rapid ambulation and minimal discomfort.

A positive birthing journey is the result of continuous preparation, close labor companionship, and clinical precision:

1. Antenatal Pelvic Assessment & Labor Planning: In the final weeks of pregnancy (weeks 36–37), Dr. Noopur performs a clinical pelvic examination to assess fetal position (cephalic presentation), baby size, and pelvic adequacy. We walk through your birth preferences and discuss pain management options.

2. Stage 1 Labor & Painless Analgesia: When active labor begins (regular uterine contractions and cervical dilation), continuous cardiotocography (CTG) monitors fetal heart rate and contraction strength. Mothers desiring a painless experience receive epidural analgesia administered by experienced anesthetists, keeping them pain-free, fully awake, and relaxed.

3. Gentle Delivery: During the second pushing stage, our team provides calm verbal encouragement and perineal protection to minimize tears. Immediately following birth, delayed cord clamping and skin-to-skin contact are initiated to support maternal-infant bonding and physiological stabilization.

4. Post-Partum Recovery & Lactation Support: Our dedicated nursing team guides new mothers with correct latching, newborn positioning, postpartum pelvic floor recovery, and routine maternal vital monitoring.

We believe every birth plan should be personalized based on evidence-based obstetric criteria:

• Normal Vaginal Delivery: Ideal when mother and baby are stable, baby is head-down, labor progresses naturally, and placenta is safely positioned. Associated with faster recovery, shorter hospital stay, and immediate physical mobility.

• Painless Normal Delivery (Epidural): A fine catheter placed in the lower back numbs contraction pain without interfering with uterine contractions or baby alertness, helping mothers conserve energy for the pushing stage.

• Planned / Emergency C-Section: Indicated for breech presentations, placenta previa, severe fetal distress, cord prolapse, cephalopelvic disproportion, or non-progression of labor. Performed via cosmetic bikini-line incision with absorbable stitches.

• VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Caesarean): Carefully evaluated for mothers with one prior lower-segment C-section who have an adequate inter-pregnancy interval and no contraindications.
